Teach and Grow With Our Hui

We’re committed to nurturing the next generation of healers and providing relevant, culturally-grounded continuing education for professionals. Explore our upcoming trainings, access resources, or share your own expertise with our provider community.

Our Approach to Professional Growth

At HiBHC, we believe professional development should be more than a requirement—it should be a source of growth, connection, and renewal. Our trainings are designed to be clinically sound and culturally grounded, ensuring providers have access to education that reflects the unique needs of our local communities.

Share Your ʻIke

The most valuable learning often comes from within our own community. That’s why we strongly encourage local providers to share their expertise. HiBHC has grant funding available to provide stipends and support for professionals who want to develop and host their own trainings. If you have an idea for an evidence-based, culturally-relevant workshop, we want to help you bring it to life.

Support for Every Stage of Your Career

Our offerings are built to support a resilient behavioral health workforce across Hawaiʻi. We host a range of events, from expert-led seminars on clinical skills to informal “provider huddles” that foster connection and prevent burnout. These opportunities ensure our professional development remains timely, relevant, and created by and for the people of Hawaiʻi.

For providers, these events are a chance to enhance skills, connect with a supportive professional hui, and find renewed purpose. For students, they offer a pathway to mentorship and a career rooted in serving Hawaiʻi. By investing in our providers, we invest in the well-being of our entire lāhui.
