Learning Objectives:

1. **Understand the Fundamentals of PTSD**: Participants will be able to describe the key characteristics and symptoms of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and the importance of evidence-based treatments in addressing this condition.

2. **Explain the Rationale for WET**: Participants will articulate the theoretical underpinnings of Written Exposure Therapy, including how it differs from traditional exposure therapies and its empirical support as an effective treatment for PTSD.

3. **Identify the Structure and Components of WET**: Participants will outline the session-by-session structure of Written Exposure Therapy, including the specific tasks and goals for each of the five sessions.

4. **Implement Writing Instructions Effectively**: Participants will demonstrate the ability to provide clear and precise writing instructions to clients, ensuring adherence to the protocol and maximizing therapeutic outcomes.

5. **Manage Clinical Challenges During WET**: Participants will identify common clinical challenges that may arise during the implementation of WET and develop strategies to address these challenges effectively.

6. **Evaluate Client Progress and Outcomes**: Participants will be able to assess client progress throughout the WET process, utilizing tools such as the Subjective Units of Distress Scale (SUDS) to measure changes in distress levels.
