Practitioner-Focused Risk Assessment in Underserved Populations with Dr. A. Aukahi Austin Seabury, Dr. Lisa Lee (she/her), Dr. Stephanie M Campbell, and Dr. Haunani ʻIao
The first half of the workshop will focus on specific risk factors, considerations, best practices, and areas of strength to leverage in risk assessment/subsequent sessions for Native Hawaiian & Pacific Islanders, and LGBTQIA+ clients.
The second half of the workshop will focus on a hands-on skills workshop, where you will learn practical skills for risk assessment in underserved and rural communities. The workshop day will conclude with a mindfulness-based exercise and a focus on rural mental health practitioner self-care.
