Dr. Kendyl Oshiro earned her Psy.D. from the Hawai‘i School of Professional Psychology at Chaminade University of Honolulu. Dr. Oshiro is also a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) and a national certified counselor (NCC), with experience working with various ages across the life span. She completed her pre-doctoral internship at Wai‘anae Coast Comprehensive Health Center (WCCHC) and is continuing her training at WCCHC as a postdoctoral fellow. Dr. Oshiro is grateful for the opportunity to be a part of the WCCHC ‘ohana and has grown quite fond of the Wai‘anae community. She is eager to gain more experience in providing culturally sensitive and trauma informed care to the west side of O‘ahu. Dr. Oshiro is dedicated to serving those within her community and is an active member of the Hawai‘i Mental Health Pro Bono COVID-19 Project and Hawai‘i Psychological Association. Dr. Oshiro is excited to be a part of HiBHC as it greatly aligns with her ongoing commitment to her community.
