Dr. Kendyl Oshiro (she/her) earned her Psy.D. from the Hawai`i School of Professional Psychology at Chaminade University of Honolulu. Dr. Oshiro is also a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) and national certified counselor (NCC), with experience working with various ages across the life span. She completed her pre-doctoral internship at Wai`anae Coast Comprehensive Health Center (WCCHC) and is continuing her training at WCCHC as a postdoctoral fellow. Dr. Oshiro is grateful for the opportunity to be a part of the WCCHC ohana and has grown quite fond of the Wai`anae community. She is eager to gain more experience in providing culturally sensitive and trauma informed care to the west side of O`ahu. Dr. Oshiro is dedicated to serving those within her community and is an active member of the Hawai`i Mental Health Pro Bono COVID-19 Project and Hawai`i Psychological Association. Dr. Oshiro is excited to be a part of HiBHC as it greatly aligns with her ongoing commitment to her community.
