Working with the LGBTQIA+ Community

Members of the LGBTQIA+ community have immense difficulty finding access to treatment, particularly in finding therapeutic housing or residential treatment. Providers typically serves males or females. There is so much misinformation around Trans males, Trans females, and the members of the gender non conforming community. Not having a safe place to be where these members of our community can be authentic and safe, creates a hostile environment at worst and a neutral environment at best; neither are conducive to healing.
